Jesus WILL Return - The Second Coming of Christ

Just as everyone sees the sun rise each day, every eye shall see the second coming of Jesus.

The one thing we can be sure of in this life is that Jesus will return, and it is our firm belief from studying Bible end times prophecy, that Jesus will return soon. The aim of this website is to help people understand the Bible truth about Christ Jesus' second coming amongst a world full of error. There is so much confusion out there about when and how Jesus will return. Can we know when Christ will return? Well, no-one knows the day or the hour as it says in Matthew 24:36 ....'But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.' ... But, we can know when the second coming of Jesus is near, as it says in Matthew 24:30,33 ...'And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory......So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.' ... The word 'it' in this verse is the second coming. So we can know when we are close to the return of Jesus Christ. If you are watching the signs of the end times and waiting for our Lord, and studying His Word, including end times Bible prophecy, then you can know when the Bible second coming of Jesus Christ is near, or as it says "even at the doors".

We sincerely believe that this generation is living during the end times, and Jesus will return very soon. Do you often think in your mind that Jesus must return soon with the state the world is in? You only need to look at end times news to see how terrible a mess this world is in. One thing we can be sure of is that Jesus IS coming back to receive those who have followed Him with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, just as Jesus gave us the beautiful promise in John 14:1-3 ...'Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.' ... What a verse this is to keep close to your heart! This is an amazing promise! It's a promise that should keep our minds focused on Christ Jesus, knowing that one day soon, Jesus will return at the second coming to take us home. Friends, this earth is not our home. We belong with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. That's where our home is, with Him! And one day soon, we will live with Him for eternity, after He has returned to take us home.

Are you Preparing for the Second Coming?

This world is going to be destroyed after the second coming of Christ Jesus. Please, if you have anything in your life that is holding you back from giving your all for Jesus, then let it go today. Today is the day to give your heart fully to Christ. Don't let the cares of this world spoil your relationship with Him and ultimately your salvation. Let go of this world and give your all to Jesus and focus your mind on His heavenly kingdom. We need to be a holy people for God, to be able to stand before Jesus when He returns. We have a holy God and He calls us to be a holy people, to be able to stand before Him. Otherwise we will be consumed by His glory. There's no time to waste, please get ready!

How can we really know if we are living during the end times just before the second coming of Jesus Christ? Well, we need to prayerfully study the Bible, and God's Word will reveal the truth on the second coming. Keep an eye on end times news to see what is happening in the world. We need to be like the Bereans, who studied the Bible every day, searching for the truth ... Acts 17:11 ...'These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.' ... Unfortunately, too many Christians are not studying the Word of God for themselves and just accept the preacher's word as truth. Don't even just accept our word as truth, but go and compare what we say with scripture, and then God will reveal the Bible truth to you about the second coming of Christ. Signs of the Second Coming

There are many signs of the end times we see that tell us we are living close to the second coming of Christ Jesus. Looking at the Bible prophecy in Daniel 12, it says that at the time of the end "many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase." We live in a world that is no doubt, "running to and fro" like no other time before us. Take a look at knowledge, how much has that increased over the last 20 years? It has increased at an incredible rate, and not only in a worldly way, but also knowledge has increased with the Word of God, especially Bible prophecy. In Matthew 24, Jesus says that "nation will rise against nation", "there will be famines and earthquakes" and "many false prophets shall arise". We can see these signs being fulfilled every day in our news. You may say that this has been happening for a long time, but over the last 10 years the frequency and intensity has increased no end. There is also one other big sign that tells me we are at the very end and that Jesus will return soon at the second coming; Jesus said in Matthew 24:14...."this gospel must be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations, and then the end will come." ..... Every person must hear the TRUE gospel of Christ Jesus and decide whether to accept Jesus or not. Then the end will come, once everyone has made their choice. At this present time, the gospel message has almost reached the four corners of this earth with tv, radio, churches, missionaries, books, internet, leaflets, etc...

Just take a look at the great image of Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 2. That image shows the kingdoms of this earth right up to the time that Christ Jesus returns at the second coming. Now the feet of that image is the last earthly kingdom before Christ returns, because it shows in Daniel 2 that a rock comes to hit the feet and smash the image. That rock is Christ. 2 Peter 3:3-4 ...'Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.' .... Remember, there will always be those who scoff at the idea of the second coming of Christ Jesus being soon. This is because they do not know the Bible and they turn away from the truth. As it says above, they walk after their own lusts, rather than walking after the truth of God's Word, and they shut their eyes to what is happening in this world and are not waiting for Jesus' return. These people probably don't even WANT Jesus to return yet, because they are having too much worldly fun!

A Warning to Wake Up!

Now Jesus gave a stark warning to the world about His second coming which should make every person sit up and start truly living for Him and watching and waiting for His return ... Matthew 24:38-39 ...'For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.' ... Right now, the world is sleeping, including the majority of Christians, see the sleeping church. Too many are caught up in the cares of this world, which isn't our home, to be concerned with Christ's second coming. As in the days of Noah, people were carrying on with their worldly lives, ignoring God's call and when the flood came, they were not prepared and it took them away and destroyed them. The same will happen to the world when Jesus will return at the second coming. The very sad thing is, many, many Christians will not be ready. They will not have prepared themselves, by giving their all to Christ and studying His Word each day. The Bible is full of beautiful promises, but it is also full of warnings to those who are not giving their all for Jesus. Are you getting ready?

What would you do if you knew Jesus Christ was to return tomorrow? Would you give every one of your last hours and minutes to Him? If so, are you doing that now? None of us know when our last hour will be. Don't have regrets, get right with God now. There's no point in waiting, because if you put it off once, you will put if off twice and more, and before you know it, you've left it too late. As it says in Revelation 22:11 ...'He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.' ... Once Jesus returns at the second coming, the door to salvation will be closed and those who have followed Christ with all their heart, mind and soul will be saved and enjoy eternal life with Him. But those who did not follow Him, which will include many professing Christians, will be lost and destroyed in the lake of fire. Many will also be lost because they put their trust in the secret rapture, and didn't prepare for the time of trouble that is about to come upon the people of God. This time of trouble is a time of refining for God's people, and we will go through it. But take hope in the fact that Jesus will send His holy angels to help us.

Jesus WILL return soon, don't miss out on this great day of salvation just because you were too caught up in this life.
